Brunhild is a bi-lingual integrative counsellor who speaks both English and Afrikaans, qualified from the University of Leicester and is a Registered member of the BACP. She has a friendly and trustworthy personality and has experience working with clients with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, bereavement, trauma, stress, low confidence and problems arising from childhood.
Brunhild applies an integrative approach using Psychodynamic and Person Centred methods as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt etc. She would feel honoured to listen with empathy to your individual concerns.
Brunhild offers short-term and long-term therapy to individuals from different backgrounds and understands that if life ‘throws you curveballs’, it is sometimes difficult to stay in control of your emotions and deal with your daily activities. Therefore, together with you leading the session and her guidance in a compassionate, non-judgemental and challenging environment you will be given an opportunity to rediscover your true self.
I've helped many people through periods of stress, depression and bereavement. My counselling methods put you in control of your own life and help you move forward.
